Terms of Service 

Experience seamless rentals with clear terms

Reservations require a valid driver’s license and payment via approved methods. Late returns or policy violations may incur additional fees.

Please review all conditions before booking.

Article 1: Scope of Application

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") apply to the car rental service (hereinafter referred to as "Service") provided by RakuChu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Company"). Customers must agree to these Terms to use the Service.

Article 2: Reservation and Payment

​

  1. Customers may make reservations through the Company's website, phone, SNS, or email.

  2. Payment for the rental fee can be made by credit card at the time of online booking or by cash, credit card, or bank transfer at the time of pick-up.

  3. Cancellations after confirmation of the reservation may incur a fee according to the cancellation policy.

  4. The following cases may result in additional fees or penalties according to the Company's policies:

    • Failure to return the vehicle within the agreed time.

    • Accidents during the rental period.

    • Parking violation fines issued during the rental period.

 

 

Article 3: Rental Conditions

  1. Customers must present the following documents at the time of pick-up:

    • A valid driver's license.

    • An International Driving Permit (if required).

    • A passport or ID.

  2. The rental period is limited to the duration specified at the time of reservation. Extensions require prior application and approval from the Company.

  3. Customers must return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, if applicable.

 

 

Article 4: Customer Responsibilities

  1. Customers must drive safely and comply with all traffic regulations.

  2. Customers are fully responsible for any traffic violations, parking violations, or other legal infringements during the rental period.

  3. In the event of vehicle damage or theft, customers must promptly report to the Company and handle the situation according to the insurance and contract terms.

 

 

Article 5: Insurance and Coverage

  1. Basic insurance is included with the rental vehicle, but customers may opt for additional coverage for expanded protection.

  2. Costs related to damages or accidents outside the insurance coverage may be borne by the customer.

Article 6: Prohibited Actions

​

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  1. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  2. Lending the vehicle to a third party.

  3. Driving in unauthorized areas (e.g., off-road).

  4. Engaging in activities against public order and morals.

 

 

Article 7: Cancellations and Refunds

​

  1. Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.

  2. Cancellations within 24 hours of pick-up may incur a cancellation fee.

  3. Refunds after the start of the service are not provided as a general rule.

 

 

Article 8: Disclaimer

​

  1. The Company is not liable for delays or interruptions in service caused by natural disasters, traffic restrictions, equipment failures, or other factors beyond its control.

  2. The Company is not responsible for damages or disputes involving third parties during the rental period.

 

 

Article 9: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any disputes related to the Service shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the Company's registered office area.
